OH HI! I'm still trying to keep this blog alive...

Kinda lazy to update whenever I on my lappy..

It's the brand new month to begin with..

Before that, some belated post for September.

I guess the only festival we had on September is Mid-Autumn?!

Not sure about that but I had a great time celebrating with my family.

The naughty boy playing with the lantern I bought for him.

Few months after, gonna babysit his little brother for his family too! Yeah~ Love babies! ^-^

By right, parents will not let the kids play with fire but my mum go by left.

She burned the lantern to show the baby and asked me to take photo of his epic expression.

Not forgetting to play with the candles. We had a hard time lighting up all of it.

The wind were too strong on that day.. Zzzz...Nevertheless, it's still enjoyable.

One fine day, met up with sis to the salon to pamper our hair..

Meet up with the rest at Esplanade's Artease for dinner.

Erm..there's a reason why we post with the bottle on hand. (FYI, it's fruit beer)

It's actually a drink we had it back at Taiwan and it's finally selling in SG.

So we were excited to drink it once again..HHAHAHAs...

One fine day, after an early dismiss from class...

Went to Park Mall's Sakae Sushi for their high tea buffet with my girls~

Youth price is around $13++. Damn worth it!

The buffet include one red & pink plate per pax so i ordered my favorite sashimi!

1 more day and we gonna bid goodbye to August and welcome the brand new month!

Before I do that, a sum up of what happened during August.

As we all know, August is also the Chinese 7th month. (Hungry Ghost Festival)

For Buddhist, we all have to pray and so.

Attended one over at my Aunt's office.

I loves event like this because it like another family gathering for me.

Get together, eat, laugh, chat. =D

whenever we have gathering or family dinner! ^^

Next, the day right after the previous event, met up at 光明山 to pray for the ancestors.

Hurray! Another family gathering! Spend my weekends with my loved ones~

After praying, we went over to City Square Mall to shop!

How can I missed it! Bought my favourite Gong Cha!

Must camwhore with the drinks! haaaaas..

For dinner, we went to a famous vegetarian restaurant to eat!

I'm back with new photos and craps to share.

It somehow makes me feel kinda great that I have never-ending photos

to upload, share and post up here or at facebook.

At least, I know I'm making full used of my camera and life.

Life is short you know. I lose a secondary school mate few months back

and just gotta to know this morning, my mate lose her dad through cancer.

发生了，知道了，明白了，了解了。。这么多事，

更让我珍惜在我身边的每个人。

千万不能犯下每个人都会犯下的一个错，

等到失去了才去珍惜，才惋惜，才愧疚。

说是说，其实还是难避免的吧！

Oh well, back to topic.

Time really flies, I'm half way through my studies now.

Around 6 more modules to go and I off to gain more credits into my pathetic CPF account.

Haaa...It gonna be my first full-time job. It gonna be awesome I reckon. *fingers crossed*

After one fine oral assessment, while waiting for another two lovely girls with

later timing for their oral, I went for Coffee Bean's 1 for 1 breakfast with sissy.

Shortly after, Xuexia joined us to wait for the last comer.

So so, we camwhore~ (as usual)

Snapped a candid shot of our model-to-be cum top girl in class. (inside joke) =P

Accompany the two to eat and we went to Play Nation to play.

I know, like AGAIN! xD Different peeps, different feel you know~

Seriously, the Jegga? we played that day really breaks all of our past record.

It was damn high and super shaky but we still managed to pile it up up up.

Played quite a number of board games and sissy intro us this game with funny-looking bones.

I think you throw it at any dog and shout 'fetch', they will go get it for sure.

Erm..Maybe add a bit of 'bone-smells' to it for more effective result. lol.

Funny-looking people must take photo with funny-looking bones. OOPS!

Anyway, that game is some sort like silence heart-attack.

When you get full set of the colour cards, you take away one bone SILENTLY.

The last person without a bone will be the loser. Bah~

There's more but I lazy to snap photo of it.

And that's how we spend our day after our oral assessment.

I think Play Nation gonna be our regular hang out place soon.

Singapore National Day 2011

Oh well, I know it's a bit late.

Let this be belated National Day post yea?! =]

Singapore is in her 46th this year..

Time really flies yea..Let's talk about my early August doings..

On the National Day Eve, the school gave us (students) an instruction to

either wear red or white to school in a form of "celebrate" for our National Day.

Fail to do so will get a forfeit to sing national day song in-front of the class.

Being a kiasu + kiasi Singaporean, my group all wore red or white to school.

For me, I'm totally enthu about it so I wore red AND white to school.

(Actually for the Top only.. =P)

Xuexia bought along the tattoo stickers she got from the fun pack. Thus, to bring up the

Singapore spirit we paste the Singapore flag tattoo stickers on our hands.

Of course, there's nothing much after the camwhore cause we continued

with our studies and presentation. The forfeit are somehow being forgotten too.

The morale of the story, it's okay not to follow the rules...

On the actual day of the National Day, it's a family day for me.

Woke up early and went over to Tiong Bahru Plaza to get ingredients for dinner.

Cooked Baked Pasta for the family and watched the NDP broadcast on CH 8.

I think Outram Park is the best place to watch fireworks without the need

of going early to book a place near the floating platform or squeeze with people.

Manage to snap a photo of the flew-pass-helicopter with our Singapore flag.

And the highlight, fireworks.

After spamming the photos I took, this is my favourite:

It's the fireworks' month!

National Day is around the corner..Oh no, it's next week!

Gonna catch the National Day's fireworks for sure!

I've never miss it before and so do the rest of the years..

I don't know about others but I really love the fireworks.

MAY

Big event on May 25th.

It's my dearest cousin's wedding!

Super honor to be able to be the "sisters" of the bride.

The theme was purple.

With my sis. Super purple that day. Haaas..

The games we play before letting the groom in.

"The door game?"

Morning - The member of the sisters.

At night - The receptionist for the dinner.

ROM first.

It was a duper busy day for them as they did their wedding procedures all within one day.

Morning for the tea session, evening for the ROM and night for the dinner.

Normally, ROM will be on a different day before the dinner but they chose to do all in one.

Well, not a bad idea though..Save the hassle and deal with everything for just one day..

Glad that we are able to "walk" with them through the beginning stage of their wedding life..

After attending school for a month?, we conclude that

we loves all the 'self-revision' schedule in our timetable.

Basically, 'self-revision' day is for us to complete assignments
or to study for the upcoming written assessments to get us prepared.

From our point of view, 'self-revision' is just like a self-declared holiday!
FYI, 'Self-revision' schedule can lasts for a week or so.

Actually, it's all depends whether you're a fast or slow learner.
Fast learner = More days to relax and have fun
Slow learner = Less days to play but still able to

Singing K in Singapore can be really costly.
So huihui recommend to go to MS instead.

If you don't mind about traveling, going over to MS for K is not a bad idea.
The mic there is WIRELESS. They have student package. The song is up-to-date.

Plus wide varieties of FOOD and DRINK to choose from.
Most important of all, it's damn cheap!

Finally..This post gonna be the last part of the Taiwan trip.
A long but pleasant 9D8N trip with my families. :))

Let's talk no more.
Day 7, here we go~

Basically, we stayed in the hotel for the first half of the day due to the bad bad weather.
Don't play play...Tai feng (台风) can be really scary and dangerous..

We could hear the strong wind from the indoor loud and clear...
Sounds like some horror movie, when you heard loud banging coming from the window. -.-''

We were really lucky because our hotel was near to the 7-11, thus
we managed to sneak down to grab some food without getting ourselves wet! ^^

Breakfast:

Lunch:

At night, went dating with sis while the cousins stayed in the hotel.

For Singapore, we keep to the left on the escalator
whilst in Taiwan they keep to the right instead.

Thus, we had a hard time getting used to the different direction. X(

Btw, this is how they behaved everyday..
Talk about considerate yea~

AND nobody will occupy the priority seats even though it's crowded.
They don't fight to snatch seats either, unlike here! -.-"

We went to 师大夜市, a night market near to Taiwan University.
It's a place where all the uni students hang out..

with GOOD and CHEAP food & clothes!

This is a MUST GO place if you ever went there or whatever.

Sis say this pot has never been wash..
They never "throw" away the sauce but just replenish day after day to cook the ingredients!

It's darn cheap & awesome. Only SGD$7- for such a HUGE plate!

After a long day, grabbing all the NT100 (SGD$5) apparrels..
We went to the nearby station to rest and prepare for the night market.

6PM! Night market! Night Market! (Rao He Ye Shi)

Bought a few goodies there..So damn cheap!
And of course, dinner!

Went back to the hotel to help cousin to pack her luggage.

Decide to do free & easy again.
Went separate way with the couple & off for threesome!

I guarantee you...It' really worth the wait..
It doesn't take long to get a seat anyway..

After breakfast or is it brunch? Can't remember but anyway we went to a nearby
stationary store to shop shop. All the things there were so cheap!!!! xD

Went to Long Shan Si (temple) at night to pray..
If you watch Taiwan's production, a movie called "monga" you will know this temple.

Well, I left with one more post and I'm done with the Taiwan-trip-post.

Oh oh oh, today is my first day of school! =D
Attended a very lame orientation but oh well, it's okay really.
I don't fancy ice-breaking games & those self-intro thingy.
Not my kind of thing really. I rather we start lesson immediately.
Tomorrow will be my first lesson! EXCITED!

So now, let's start with Day 3 and so..

During the holidays, you tend to wake up early for everything.
Time is precious when we're overseas. Time is money.
So, Day 3!

Rise & Shine!

Yummy breakfast to kick start the day!
Everything there is cheap and yummy.
The portion is more than enough too!

Tell me how not to love Taiwan!

Bubble tea! A must drink beverage in Taiwan!

We try our luck with Taiwan's lottery.

But of course we won nothing..
If not I won't be here to blog this. Haaa...

Spend the rest of the day at the wedding boutique and
off to Shilin night market at night for dinner!

The crowd there is horrible but it's still a must go place!

All the cheap and awesome food!
So so so so much better than our pasamalam!
Why Singapore don't have night maket?!

I bought this! Super HUGE hotdog bun!
Gosh~ Look at the size and it's FREAKING CHEAP!
NT $40 is like SDG$2 with change! *-*

We are spoilt with the wide varieties of snacks to choose from but
we still need a proper dinner thus we had this~

The place with long queue means there's good deals that worth people to queue
for it soooo we joined in the queue for ULTRA BIG BIG chicken cuttle!
(According to the stall name) xD

Zoom to Day 4, let's go!

Day 4 was all about shop & eat, shop & eat too!
Only differences is my sis came to join in the fun.
Due to work, she had to change the flight to a later date but
well, it's never late for fun fun FUN! =D

We went to Ximending.
It's like our orchard road, place that all the youngster hang out.

Breakfast! How not to grow fat! T.T

We also went to their CD shop & arcade!

We had a few rounds of game with this faulty machine!
Somehow, the basketballs just kept rolling out without any token inserted!

Thirsty?! You can find bubble tea shop at every corner!

It's another Orchard ION seriously..
I don't fancy this place at all..It's just for experience.
If you love branded goodies, this will be a good place to shop!

We still shivers under all these thick jacket you know..
Imagine the weather there~ If i'm not wrong it's another 11 degree Celsius that day!

With a few blinks, it's mump mump time again!
Y'all know what is good life?

Good life is about eating steaming hotpot during chilly weather!

Welcome 2 Taiwan!

Here goes the post for the Taiwan Trip.

If you'd followed my facebook, all the photos were up.
So I'm just gonna do some story telling here with all the photos.

It's a 9 days 8 nights trip with my beloved families.
No parents. No restriction. A free & easy trip.

Let's start with Day 1! Let's go~

First stop: Changi Airport.

We can't possibly WALK to Taiwan by foot right?!
So yohoo, took budget line-Jetstar to Taipei.
The duration is about 4 hours +/-

Went for our breakfast before the flight.

A group photo before we set our foots off-ground.

Met my friend at the airport who is going back to Taiwan on the same flight as me.

Such a coincidence huh?!

In the morning, woke up with swollen eyes thus I have no choice but to put on my sunglasses.
Cousin says I look like people who wants to escape from paparazzi! -.-"

Setting off...

My excited cousin- Her virgin trip on a budget air.
She's a frequent flyer of SQ but we convinced her to take with us.

I managed to snap shots of the beautiful sunrise through the window:

And also the cotton candy-like clouds!

It's like a must do thing on the plane.
For my every trip, I never fail to take shots of the cloud.
The formation of the cloud makes the mind goes wild.

How about this! A heart shape?!

Thank god for Nintendo DS to keep us accompany through the flight to Taipei.

And camera for me to camwhore my time away~

Finally, after the 4+ hours of the uncomfortable ride...

WELCOME 2 TAIWAN!

We bought tickets for the coach services at the airport to
bring us to our destination at the city area.

Super duper strong wind upon stepping out of the airport. (e.g look at our hair)
I totally regret wearing shorts to Taiwan. It's stupid!
The weather at that time is 11 degree Celsius. O.O

We dropped down our luggages at the wedding shop and
went for our breakfast at some morning market near the boutique.

The happy faces because we gonna have good food! =D

I forgot what I was doing..Probably trying to disturb the auntie. -.-"

Whatever it is, breakfast or issit brunch? time! ^^

Our first meal upon reaching Taipei!
I don't wish to elaborate because all the food there is AWESOME!

Went back the boutique to try out the wedding gown & suits.
(Not me, of course!) xD

Well, before you human starts to wonder why on earth we go to their wedding boutique..
I shall explain about the main reason for this Taiwan trip.

Cousin & his gf signed up this wedding photo shoot package organized by The Judy.
The Judy is a wedding boutique from Taiwan thus all the photo shoot would take place
at Taiwan itself. Therefore, part of the reason of the trip is to travel there for the shoot.
First 3 days is for the photo shoot while the rest of the days is to explore around. =]

Alright, got it?! Now photos of my *cough* handsome cousin!

Free & easy is all about learning to live like a Taiwanese right?!
We went to the train station to purchase their 'EZ-link' card.

I very ke lian. I'm the only one holding on to a camera.
They totally depended on me to take photos of the trip.
So I can only help them to take photo and then camwhore myself.
Nobody take for me! ='(

Time to check in to our HOTEL!

The love-hate situation about the ultra huge mirror in front of the bed.

LOVE= Can camwhore and check out myself before heading out.
HATE= Get a shock whenever I woke up seeing a reflection of a zombie. -.-"

Put down our luggage at the hotel and head out for dinner.
In Taiwan, everywhere you go there will be cheap & good food.

The restaurant we go to is one of the famous food stall
that sells braised meat rice. 鲁肉饭

First serving, table of goodies! *drool*

Can't resist the temptation, we go for the second round!

We literally ordered everything on the menu! xD

After dinner, we went to the nearby bakery and
night market to buy snacks back to hotel.

Supper at night market!

臭豆腐!

甜不辣!

That's it for Day 1.

Day 2 of the trip!
Let's go~~~

On the 2nd day, cousin & gf went for their wedding photo shoot so
me and cousin organized our own free & easy tour.

Below is the train station near our hotel.
We took train from here every single day.

Cousin say whenever we go to a country, we should pay respect
to the goddness there to pray for a safe trip.

So here we go, one stop away from our hotel: 行天宫

We had our breakfast at some random shop we found down the alley.

And it's was awesome! Gosh~
The best breakfast and it's darn cheap!

The weather on that day was rather warm so..we had bubble tea! =)

When the time is up, we head over to 五分埔 for our shopping!
五分埔 is just like Singapore's Bugis Village but the deals there are wayy cheaper.
It's distribute to wholesaler too so the clothes we buy at Bugis comes from here too.

We spend the rest of our day there and back to night market for dinner.

That's all about Day 1 & Day 2.

I got into Poly and the course I chose but I'm letting it go just like that.

Totally headache so I just update with recent outing first?! :)

Met up with bitch to bitch around~
Oh, totally rapping...

She says our outing is always about food and K.
I can't help but agreed with it.

So, Aston here we go...

After the awesome dinner, headed off to Marina to try our luck.
K-box having $6 nett promotion but we had missed the timing
thus we went to check out the price hoping to get a good deal.

Not bad after all as it's ladies' night package for us...

We're totally in the mood for oldies~

You know all the westlife, backstreet boys and whoever you can think of.

You name it, we sang it.

Not forgetting to cam-whore in the lift before we head off...

We both have straight bus and train from city hall to home but we chose to take the train to another stop just to get to the common bus stop that has both our bus...

Talk about crazy people do crazy things huh..

Yes, Taiwan was kind of affected by it but I'm fine there.. C=

I'm still on my holiday mood now. Nua-ing on my bed most of the time.

Chinese New Year Day 1 - 3

I'm still stuck at Chinese New Year when it's long gone for good.

I'm off for 3 days straight from CNY eve to CNY day 3.

Alright! A proper post for Chinese New Year.
Let's start with CNY eve. 大年除夕！

This year I had an early reunion dinner with my family thus
on the CNY eve, i tag along with my relatives for the 2nd round!

We went to Serangoon Country Club:

The crowd was horrible and there's no seating area! -.-"
Even those (us) who had made a reservation had to wait for their table.

To kill time, of course~ we CAM-WAR!

Never fail to meet up with my Jam Jam for our birthday celebration.
It might be just the two of us but we still enjoyed it like a party of ten.

First up, we went over to the newly-opened mall (Nex) to shop.
We had our brunch over at Ding Tai Fung! *yumm yumm*

After we conquered the whole mall, went to Chinatown to get our stuffs
